Aichan and Aika Haul

So I haven't lately told you about my new approach to buying H!P goods.  I've recently decided to stick to my oshimem (obviously Aika), and buy mostly her goods, instead of spending excess money on other members goods that I don't care for as much.

Back to the Norm

Now that the 30-day idol challenge has been completed, we return to our regularly scheduled blogging.  After almost a week of not posting anything, I missed you guys!  Lets see what we have for today shall we?

Let me start of by giving a big shout-out to my bff Chris for being so kind and sending me a gift for my birthday. It was truly something that I loved and will cherish for a long time.  You really didn't have to, but you did anyways.  You really are a great friend and i'm glad I met you! <3

My cherished gift: Aika's fist Alo-Hello album.  I don't know where you picked this up from, or how much you payed for it, but thanks again.  I hope it wasn't too expensive! >_<

Once again thank you.  And thanks for the card too.  It was so cute lol.  These pics are fantastic and I love them!

Oh and before I forget, I also got a little gift (among others -sigh-) for myself ehehe.

A Momusu 8nin PikaPika set that i've always wanted but never bought until now.  I forgot to take a picture of them before I put them in their sleeves, and I didn't feel like taking them out just for a picture, so here you go lol.  Oh, and ignore creeper Linlin in the background ahahaha!

So now, there's a few more things that i've purchased that havne't been sent to me yet.  Oh this should be fun~

 ~[ Day 7: Favorite Couple? ]~

I assume the word 'couple' in the question refers to something along the lines as good friends, so I chose the pairing of Aika and Reina, aka Reika.

For a couple years strong now, Reina and Aika have become close friends within the Musume community.  For some reason, this pairing bewilders me...but I love it.  They seem to have such different personalities and characteristics about them that make them rather opposites actually.  Maybe that's what brings them together?  They way I see it, the qualities that they admire the most in each other are the ones that they wish they had themselves.  Whatever it is, they're damn awesome together.

I've always wondered about the members relationships outside of the work environment.  Like who hangs out mostly with whom, and if any members rarely talk on their free time.  I'm glad to see that Aika and Reina have such a strong connection out of all the other members.  Through Reina's blog, I've read that these two have had numerous sleepovers, dinners, and get togethers.  I read that even their mothers have hung out a few times.  Now that says something about their friendship!  I hope that they stay friends for a long time coming.

30 Day Idol Challenge

It's the first day of July! It's also the day I begin whats been going around as the "30 Day Idol Challenge."  There's a different question each day; and the challenge is to see if I can actually commit to thirty days of straight blogging!!  I hope the readers of this blog will enjoy what I will have to say about the idols that I love, and do not get too offended if I don't think the same way they do.

I would be more then happy for any of you to let me know what you think in a comment, and also feel free to start the challenge with me!  Let me know what your answer is!

I will still be posting regulularly about the stuff that I usually post about...just with thirty extra posts this month lol.

~[ Day 1: Your Favorite Idol. ]~

That's an easy one.  Aika Mitsui of course.

 My fandom of Morning Muusme (and Hello!Project in general) began sometime between Resonant Blue and Pepper Keibu.  Before I really knew anything about Morning Musume, Aika was one of the first idols that really caught my attention.  It's hard to explain why.  She just somehow found the carpool lane to my heart, and got there 90mph.  Even though I wasn't even aware of Morning Musume when she debuted, she has been my oshimem ever since.

Everybody that knows me knows that Aika holds a special place in my heart.  She's smart, beautiful, talented, and has a great personality.  She was the bravest kohai, and when the time came, she became the strongest senpai.  She takes charge when it's needed, and always knows the right thing to say.  Her cheery ambiance always puts a smile on my face.  Her solo lines in Egao Yes Nude, are probably some of my favorites.  It always gets me to smile...she always gets me to smile.

Aikas 1st Photobook

Thanks to a friend of mine, I recently got my hands on Aika's first photobook:

Let me just tell you that it is full of win.

I always knew that Aika was a beautiful girl, but I never realized how photogenic she was.  She is so elegant and beautiful!  There isn't that much that I can say about this photobook, other then that if you are a fan of Aika, you should definitely add this to your collection!

The photos just get better and better as it gets towards the end.  Oh, it also comes with a DVD making of, so that should be fun to watch as well.

Sayumi, Reina, Aika FC Tour

So, as the title states, a Sayumi, Reina, Aika FC Tour has been scheduled in (insert Japanese city name here) on (insert appropriate date here).  There has been a confirmed goods list to go along with this bus tour.  I wonder what they're going to do on the tour?

Last time, when it was Aika, Sayumi, and Aichan, they went to a vineyard and picked grapes.  Sounds like fun eh?

Gifts and Presents

So recently I recieved a present in the mail from a good friend of mine Bonnie!  She is such a great friend, and decided to send me something in the mail for no other reason then being a nice person.  She couldn't have picked out a better gift to send me:

Speaking of sending gifts to good friends, I have something for a friend too.  I don't know how many of you know, but it's going to be my great friend Melisa's birthday soon.  I was excited and since she's such an awesome person, I got her a little something.  I don't want to ruin the surprise, so this is all you're gonna see.

I did what Melisa asked too.  I didn't use your real name.  Now it's like a secret!

My Little Trooper

So as you all may know by now, two days ago (Sunday) during Momusu's DX concert, Aika hurt her ankle.  She was telling staff during the concert that her ankle was in bad shape, and that it was really hurting her while she moved around.  Later on, she was taken to the hospital to find out that she had fractured her ankle.

As far as concerts go, she says that she's going to participate in them, but not do much dancing.  I feel so bad for her, but am proud of her perseverance.  I've always been worried though that she would be graduated early because of her foot conditions.  It wasn't too long ago that her appendix almost exploded during one of her earlier concerts, which had to be removed immediately.  Following that was her creepy cartilage problem on her big toe, which didn't allow her to wear high-heels until just recently.

On the brighter side, I got a something special in the mail:

3x the Maji

For the release of Morning Musume's 45th single, Maji Desu Ka Ska, promotional posters have been sold.  This surely was a way to create excitement among fans waiting to see what the new look of Morning Musume was going to be.  During one of the tour dates of the Fantasy DX concert, everyone who attended and purchased a copy of the single received one of these posters.  The posters that they got were not your ordinary Maji Desu Ka Ska poster.  They were autographed by one member.  Each poster was distributed at random, and had the autograph of one Momusu member on it.

Soon after, wota's who apparently had multiple posters started selling them online.  When I saw them, I knew I had to get my hands on one of them.

Well...I got my hands on 3 of them. ^_^

Of course, I by all means necissary, I had to pickup an Aika autograph for myself:

After that, I decided to pick up Erina's and Mizuki's, because I knew friends who were willing to buy them off of me if I picked it up for them.

 

These posters are pretty awesome to say the least.  I guess I need to go get a frame for my Aika poster now, and figure out where I should put it, since there isn't much open space on my walls hehe.

Now, it can beautifully match the Aika signed Lullaby Game poster that I bought last time!

Aika's Legal (USA Legal)

Today (in Japan), on January 12, 2011, our Aika turned 18.  Awesomeeee.  She's not the same little tyke that joined Morning Musume 4 years ago.  She's definitely changed since then...in a good way of course.

Even though it's Aika's birthday, I was the one who got a present from the postman today.  Oh glorious day indeed!  Rival Survival pictures!

Best concert outfits EVER

Rival Survival Highlights

So after all the dust settled after the graduation, I wanted to take a moment to talk about the concert performances.  I thought they were fantastic, with a lot of songs that really were top notch.  The outfits were some of my favorites that I've seen so far, and all of the girls looked wonderful.  Once again, I'm not going to talk about each and every song, just the ones that I thought were most memorable.

1. Souda! We're Alive:

Opening song for the win.  The dance number that was set up before the song started was fantastic.  I loved the military sounding music that played in the background while the girls almost marched into position.  That was really the highlight of the song.  The glass breaking sounds were cool too.

2. Handmade City:

I like bandannas.  I also like the little english at the start of the song.  I also like watching them in those outfits for just a little longer.  Yep.

3. Aisaresugiru Koto wa Nai no yo:
I liked this performance because everyone got great lines in this song.  Aika had the first solo, which sounded great.  I kinda like their outfits, and the dance was cool too.  I felt as if Gaki was yelling at me during the "ai ga ai ga ai ga aru KARAAAAAAAAAA" parts.  Calm down Gaki.  Also, it was almost as if Aichans mic was turned off for this perf.  For her solo's we could barely hear her, but all in all good perf.

4. Linlin's Watarasebashi:

Linlin was so adorable on stage reading her letter.  It really made me tear up a little bit seeing how cute she was.  Her performance was really great too.  Her voice is so melodic, I wonder if anyone of the new girls will develop a voice like hers one day.  She's really one of a kind.

5. Seishun Collection:

Let me just say: best costumes ever.  I don't really know why, but I honestly fell in love with these costumes.  I like color coordination.  The song itself wasn't anything special, but it was cool and different how they performed the entire song while circling the concert hall floor waving at everyone.

6. Odore! Morning Curry:

Awesome.  My favorite performance of the night.  It just had so much energy.  I really loved whatever was going on on the screen behind them...it was kinda mezmerizing.  Anyways, the pairings were balanced.  I liked Aika/Eri especially.  Also, towards the end, Sayu/Jun were adorable.  The wota chanting parts were cool as shit too.  "HEY? HAI!"  Just makes me wanna dance my pants off.

7. GuruGuru Jump:

This song will never die.  It will always be #1.  I loved the opening when Aika was centered with the other girls circling her.  Another high energy song for sure.  SO AWESOME.  Line distribution ftw here as well.  I could watch it a hundred times.

8. Onna to Otoko no Lullaby Game:

The outfits were so much nicer here then they were in the PV, but that's okay.  Was performed really well, even with the minor screw ups that nobody was supposed to see [cue Eri's laces tangled and Linlin falling on her butt] lol.  Im glad Eri/Jun/Lin got to perform this song once before they left.

9. Ame no Furanai something something something:

This one was probably hard to perform after constant crying for like 30 minutes of graduation messages.  It was just as hard to watch, lemme tell you that.  It was beautiful though.  Stop it.  I'm going to cry.

Well before I start crying again, i'm going to stop here.  I thought this concert was fantastic, and it was a nice way to end Eri's Jun's and Lin's time in Morning Musume.  I'm really gonna miss them, especially Linlin of course.  They won't be forgotten, and I always have this concert on DVD to watch whenever I need some more Linlin time. :D
