Raffi's Fashion Check 3

HEY HEY HEY DO YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS?
ITS TIME FOR RAFFI'S FASHION CHECK 3!

This time, we get to play with the members of C-ute!
Lets see what kind of outfits they put on for us for their next single shall we?

Up first, Maimi:
 - SO RED. I LIKE RED.
- LEGS. SHORTS. SKIRT. (thanks Nono!)
- HAIR. I think this is win.

Next is Nakky:
 - NAKKY.
- She has bangs again. +1
- I don't like stripes -1, but it works really well so +2
- BRIGHT AND BUBBLY NAKKY +5million

Who else but Airi:
 - She has a giant & necklace.  I don't know how I feel about that.
- USA BUTTON FTW.
- I was gonna say "me no likey red skirt" but her hairband matches her skirt so I guess that's cool.

Oooooooooh Chisatooooo:
 - SO YANKII OF CHISATO ME LIKEY.
- HEY HEY YOU YOU I DON'T LIKE YOUR GIRLFRIEND. Oh wait that wasn't Chisato.
- Is that Miya's jean jacket from the 90's???
- There's a gun on her shirt.  Too offensive for me.

HAGGY:
 - Oh my god so bright and pastelly.
- Shoes are just fail.
- Makes me want to paint something lol
- She looks like a kindergarten teacher. (Epic comment props to Chris)

WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK OF THESE OUTFITS?

There wasn't anything great to say about these outfits, mainly because I love C-ute too much and couldn't find anything negative to say.  My most clever comment wasn't even my own >_>.

This does make me feel as though the next single is going to be very "genki" like Maji Desu Ka Ska was...something quite opposite of Kiss Me Aishiteru~

Berryz Seattle Setlist

As we all know already, Berryz Kobo have been in the States for the last couple of days.  How exciting for those fans who were able to attend!!  Not as exciting (yet still exciting nevertheless) for those fans who were unable to get over to Seattle to see the awesomeness that occurred.  Fans all over flew from far and wide to attend this special event.

The concert that Berryz Kobo held was smaller then their average concert would be, seeing that the venue was smaller, and that they had different agendas planned hour by hour.  This is what they performed for their US fans:

1. Ganbarou Nippon Ai wa Katsu
2. Special Generation
3. Heroine ni Narou Ka
4. Shining Power
MC (the girls spoke about the places in Seattle they visited)
5. Piriri to Yukou
6. Happiness Koufuku Kangei
7. Tsukiatteru no Kataomoi
8. Berry Fields
9. Clap
10. Maji Bomber
11. Icchoume Rock
12. Otakebi Boy Wa
MC
13. Rival
(Encore) 14. All For One and One For All

According to staff twitter, over 3500 fans attended the concert!  That's a great thing to hear.  It was a relief to see how many die-hard Berryz fans attended the concert and Sakura-Con all together, after hearing (rumors) that no fans waited for them at the airport upon their arrival.

Part from the concert, the girls attended the coveted autograph sessions, Q&A session with their fans, and the closing ceremonies.  What a fantastic weekend this must have been for any fan who enjoyed it.

Congratulations to Berryz Koubou for making their USA debut!!!
All I can say is that I hope more Hello!Project groups come more often to the States.  (Los Angeles again please!)

Mobekimasu Sort

So, again, it's Wednesday night, and I'm sitting in class doing anything but listening to what's going on (i know i'm going to pay for that later on).  Anyways, I took the time to play this mobekimasu sort game that others before me have done.  It was quite mesmerizing, and i'm sure that I clicked on the wrong picture more then once lol.  I got quite fed up with clicking so many faces to be honest.  Also, I felt like the creator of this game picked some of the worst profile pictures (in my honest opinion) to represent the members.  Just saying.

My Results:

This all in all seemed correct, although there might be a few off here and there.  It really doesn't matter much though.  I'm sure by now you readers know who I like and who I don't!

In other news:

I've added two new pages to the blog where you can easily check the upcoming/current Hello!Project Concert Tours Setlist and Goods.  This way, when new or updated goods come out, I can put it there, without having to have scattered goods everywhere.  I hope you enjoy!

C-ute vs Smileage Tour Goods

Wow I can't believe it's been over 5 months since this tour came up in conversation.

The C-ute / Smileage Tour 2011 goods were released recently, so I thought I would share them with you all.  There isn't anything spectacular (in my opinion) about these goods.  I do like the black shirt though.  I'll be picking up a Fantasy DX shirt, so I don't know if i'm going to be buying this shirt.

All in all, the pictures are really nice though.  C-ute has a very mature (and blue) look about them here which is cool.  Maimi and Chisato look really hawt.

Pocket Morning Bludners 2

Woo!  It's time for another round of Morning Musume's Pocket Morning Questions!  Let's see what the girls have answered for this weeks question.  This time, the question required a bit more critical thinking on the girls part, asking them where they would like to go if they had a car.  The members had to think really hard for this one.  Their answers showed just exactly what was on their minds, and how they really felt about things.

Question: If you could go for a drive alone, where would you go?
(Assuming you have a drivers license, of course)

Wow. What honesty from the girls.  The truth has never been so obvious!

Chou! Wonderful 6

It's been a long time coming, so i'm glad I finally found some time to write up this review!  Well, okay, i'm sitting in class at the moment, supposed to be taking notes, but writing this blog post is much more mind-stimulating.  At first, I wasn't too thrilled about this album, so i'm glad I lagged writing this review till now, since I got to listen to the new songs many many more times.  I've become quite fond of almost all the songs actually.  So, lets see how I felt about it overall?  I might even surprise myself.

[Tracks 3, 7, 9, and 11 are not mentioned because they are singles.]

Track 1: Chou! Wonderful
A very genki song to start the album off with.  It has a great upbeat rhythm to it, and the first time I heard it, it made me excited to hear what the rest of the album was going to sound like.  I love everyones voices in it, and it sounds like it’s going to make a great concert performance!  I liked the instrumental part a lot.  Sounds like there can be a lot of wota participation there.

Track 2: Midnight Temptation
Well for one thing, what an awesome title.  Midnight Temptation sounds like a name of a song in American pop culture.  Title aside, this track was pretty powerful too.  I guess like I said with Joshikai the Night of 7 Berryz Times, this is “that song” that everybody loves the most on the album.  I loved the intro as well.  It reminded me of the prolonged intro of Moonlight Night that was the opening act of Momusu’s PikaPika concert.  I can’t wait to see this performed.

Track 4: Iza Susume, Steady Go!
Woo!  Go Nakky!  It just felt genuinely good to hear her be a lead for a song.  Things just sounded right.  She had a really great sound in the song.  It’s not one of my favorites, because I feel like it’s somewhat repetitive.  I don’t really have much to say about this song other then it’s fun, upbeat, and…Nakky.

Track 5: Rururururu
Ah, so we come to what I like to call “that slow song” of the album.  Every album needs a ballad I suppose, but it’s not my preferred choice of direction.  The song was great, and Airi sounded fantastic in it.  I thoroughly enjoyed the song all together, but it’s not something that I’m going to listen to unless I’m about to fall asleep lol.  Great song though!

Track 6: Wakaretakunai...
For some reason, I absolutely fell in love with this song.  It took a few listens for me to fall for it, but I’m glad I did.  I adore how the song starts, and love the beat.  Chisa’s voice is so flawless and clear.  This song sort of reminds me of her singing Uchuu de La Ta Ta during the Dance Special Concert medley (go check it out if you haven’t).  Some say that this song gets repetitive, but I don’t think so.  I think it’s just great.  I’m not too big a fan of the chorus, but Chissa’s parts dominate that for me.

Track 8: Circle
Aww what a cute song!  The melody is very soft and subtle which is a nice change.  Soothing, actually.  Mai’s voice matches the beat of the song in my opinion.  It was a good pairing.  I like the song, but it’s not one of my favorites, even though it’s fun and enjoyable to listen to.  It’s such a bubbly song!  It’s a very Maimai song.  Okay I’ll stop describing now.

Track 10: 3 Ban Home 3 Ryoume
Okay, retarded name aside, this song wasn’t that bad…but in my opinion it wasn’t that great either.  To me, it wasn’t very memorable.  It’s something that I would skip if it came up on my shuffle, unless I wanted something to fall asleep to.  Not saying that that’s a bad thing though.  Maimi sounded good in it, but it’s not something that sung to me.  Not one of the better tracks.

SO.  Now you all know how I felt about this album.  Did any of my picks surprise you?   I was surprised about how much I fanboy'd over Chissa's song.  Not that i'm complaining though.  All in all, I found this album quite enjoyable, and i'll be replaying these songs for quite some time over again.

Which were some of your favorites?

Momusu Spring Tour Goodies

Yay one of my favorite things to talk about...H!P GOODS!

Recently Morning Musume's upcoming Spring '11 tour Fantasy DX blah blah blah released their goods list.  As usual, I was excited to see what kind of goods it would produce.  Everything was...very cute.  In my opinion, it's nothing compared to the sheer awesomeness the goods from Rival Survival were, but I definitely wasn't expecting any sexy Erina towels. *shivers*

These goods are cute like MM's Spring '10 Tour (PikaPika) was.  Very sparkly and colorful.  Out of all of these i'll buy the wristband (i love wristbands) and a few 2L set A/B pictures of Aika and Risa.  Will I buy any kyuukie goods?  Chances are slim, but you never know.  I was hoping the shirts would be a lot cooler...these are way too girly.  I don't think I can rock any of those lol.

What goods are you gonna buy? (If any at all).
