Aichan + S/mileage Gets

So we all know that Aichan has officially graduated, and that as of recent, Maeda Yuuka has decided to leave the Hello!Project world, chasing after dear Sakitty.  Hopefully Yuuka and Saki are going to stay friends when they both leave UFA, and who knows, maybe even run into each other at the same University?

Maeda Yuuka Graduating?!

It has NOT been officially confirmed yet, but there are many rumors and newspaper articles stating that Maeda Yuuka will be graduation from S/mileage and Hello!Project on December 31st 2011.  This is just as sudden as Saki's announcement, but the cut seems to be a little deeper this time.  If it's true (which we still do not know for sure yet), at least we have two months left with her.

New Direction for Smileage

So first off, let's talk about S/mileage's new single Tachi Agaaru, shall we?  Since one support beams of S/mileage has decided to part with us, the foundation of the group has been rested on the remaining three full fledged members, along with a sprinkling of sub-member.  The whole single can be personified in a picture, since it of course, says a thousand words:

What i'm trying to get at is that the lines were distributed fairly between Kanon, Dawa, and Yuuka, and that's about it.  The sub members barely had a chance to scrape in, only opening their mouths during the WOW YEAH portions of the song.  They didn't even sing along to the chorus!  I found that rather ridiculous, since they've gone through so much already.  I know, I know, they aren't full s/mileage members, yet, and that's where their smile campaign comes in.  I mean, it's only fair right?  If the original 4nin had to gather up 10,000 smile's to debut, the shin members should as well!  I hope they can accomplish this daunting feat.

The sub-members are to S/mileage what S/mileage was to Mano Erina before they got their chance to debut. They participated in the singles, as background dancers and occasional WOW YEAHS!  For what it's worth, it's a step closer to their transition to full members.  From what I've witnessed so far, it seems like a great accomplishment and obstacle at the same time to become a member of S/mileage.  To give the subbies some more credit though, I've heard that they did a fantastic job at their first concert (the Mini Skirt Tour), so I do have high hopes for them!  I'll send them a smile~

Also, to be honest, it looks like they're dancing on one of the board maps of a Mario Party game...the music fits too! lol

I Love S/mileage

Lately I've gotten really into S/mileage.  I think that it was Uchouten Love that made me really fall for them.  It's my favorite single of theirs to date, and it may be one of my favorite singles of H!P in 2011.  That means a lot!  I'm trying to complete my S/mileage CD discography now.

It's one of my favorite looks for S/mileage, even though the Black Ver for Koi ni Booing Buu didn't match one bit to the song.  It might have something to do with the lyrics, but I'm not certain about that.  Oh well.  Maybe Tsunku had a very high running fever that week (lol).

Side Note: The winner of my first contest [Lily] has yet to contact me after almost 9 days.  Lily if you're reading this, please contact me ASAP at helloraffi@gmail.com.  If I don't hear anything by Friday the 16th, i'm going to redraw a winner from the original list of participants.

S/milage + New Member UStream

I just now watched (less than half) of the live S/mileage UStream that just aired.  I didn't remember that it was even on until one of my friends mentioned it earlier.  I caught a good half hour of it, and it had some funny moments to it!  It was rather unexpected, so I couldn't get many screenshots.

I was happy to see that there were over 4000 viewers watching now, and when it ended there were over 14,000 total viewers who came and watched at least for a little while.

The UStream was mostly an interview with each of the new members, with Kanon being the narrator.  She asked the girls the same questions each, such as what their favorite food was, and if they had any special skills.  The girls were rather cute and looked rather natural in front of the camera.  They all had some interesting things to share, even though I didn't understand that much of it.

Akari showed us that her skill was the long jump.  She was took of her shoes for this one and I just knew that she was going to do something cap-worthy.  Oh and then Kanon did this weird hand trick that was really hard to do, let alone explain.

C-ute vs Smileage Tour Goods

Wow I can't believe it's been over 5 months since this tour came up in conversation.

The C-ute / Smileage Tour 2011 goods were released recently, so I thought I would share them with you all.  There isn't anything spectacular (in my opinion) about these goods.  I do like the black shirt though.  I'll be picking up a Fantasy DX shirt, so I don't know if i'm going to be buying this shirt.

All in all, the pictures are really nice though.  C-ute has a very mature (and blue) look about them here which is cool.  Maimi and Chisato look really hawt.

Let's Play A Game

Here are a bunch of screenshots from Hello!Project's DVD Magazine Volume 24!

Instead of me coming up with terrible yet hilarious captions for them, I want YOU to come up with some.
Pick your favorite members and caption their faces.  I bet it'll get you thinking!

Think you've got what it takes?

Try it.  Make me laugh.  GO!

(*Ogawa Saki and Mano Erina didn't feel like playing this game I guess. Lameo's)

Busted

-fake scenerio-

This is how the girls of Hello!Project reacted when told they had to go on a romantic date with me.

These are their responses:
(the number in the bottom right corner is how many times they dry heaved)

Wow.  I can't believe how excited they all are!  It's just a date, jeez.
