Secret Admirer

So today I was informed by Melisa about this website where apparently you put in your name, click 'next' and you get a specialized message from an H!P member.  It's just a game made solely for fun, but it's actually really really funny.  You can put as many names as you want and see what happens, but the same name twice will get you the same response.  CLICK ME if you wanna play!

With my real name I got a message from 9th Gen member Fukumura Mizuki:
Mizuki says: "Lets make tomorrow a better day to do special things."  Thanks kid.

With a nickname I got a message from other 9th Gen member Ikuta Erina.  I guess they love me.
Erina says: "I'm looking forward to the bus tour. Lets secretly make some time alone together." -- Kid, i'm WAY out of your league.  Call me in 7 years.

With 'HelloRaffi,' I got a message from Okai Chisato:
Chisato says: "Haa, i'm tired already. How should I stay awake."

Lastly by adding an extra letter to my name, Nakazawa Yuko sends me a message:
Yuko says: "Have any free time? I bought some rice."

This was a lot of fun actually, and it made me waste some time.  Woo!  Try it out for some laughs.  Have some more laughs with google translate.

OH AND:
Mr.Postman left me another present today

Aika's Legal (USA Legal)

Today (in Japan), on January 12, 2011, our Aika turned 18.  Awesomeeee.  She's not the same little tyke that joined Morning Musume 4 years ago.  She's definitely changed since then...in a good way of course.

Even though it's Aika's birthday, I was the one who got a present from the postman today.  Oh glorious day indeed!  Rival Survival pictures!

Best concert outfits EVER

My newfound appreciation for Gaki continues:

I wish I bought everyone's set.  They are just too awesome

Oh yes!  And beautiful kimono Linlin pictures as well:

SO.  If you have the pictures that I am looking for.  Sell them to me.  I give you big bucks jes?  Good.
WOO! ^o^

Oh yes I forgot we were talking about Aika's birthday.  Well, just watch this Aika goodness:

The Way Ai See It

So, you all probably have heard (I actually just found out) that Takahashi Ai is going to be graduating from Morning Musume and Hello!Project at the end of their Autumn Tour 2011.  That still gives us like 9 months of our lovely princess left though.  But when first hearing about the graduation, I had nothing to say but:

This.

It wasn't much of a shocker though, seeing as Aichan has been a part of MM for almost a decade.  That's like half her life.  According to Tsunku, when Eri/Jun/Lin graduation was announced late last year, he told Aichan to start thinking of her graduation plans and her future career.

I think it's a bit too early, to have Morning Musume's leader leave her group, when the new members won't even have a full year to train under her.  With that being said, I believe that future leader Niigaki Risa will do a fantastic job in her place.  Aichan has dedicated a huge chunk of her life to Hello!Project, and I hope we still get to hear a lot from her.

If we get lucky, she will become a great soloist like Maki Goto was.  She's got so much talent.  I have nothing but high hopes for her future.

BUT.  I don't like how from '09-'11, things are changing too fast.  Koharu, Eri, Lin, Jun, and now Ai.  Morning Musume is getting blurry.  I feel like I almost don't know them anymore.  There's nothing we can do but hope for the best though.

whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Rival Survival Highlights

So after all the dust settled after the graduation, I wanted to take a moment to talk about the concert performances.  I thought they were fantastic, with a lot of songs that really were top notch.  The outfits were some of my favorites that I've seen so far, and all of the girls looked wonderful.  Once again, I'm not going to talk about each and every song, just the ones that I thought were most memorable.

1. Souda! We're Alive:
Opening song for the win.  The dance number that was set up before the song started was fantastic.  I loved the military sounding music that played in the background while the girls almost marched into position.  That was really the highlight of the song.  The glass breaking sounds were cool too.

2. Handmade City:
I like bandannas.  I also like the little english at the start of the song.  I also like watching them in those outfits for just a little longer.  Yep.

3. Aisaresugiru Koto wa Nai no yo:
I liked this performance because everyone got great lines in this song.  Aika had the first solo, which sounded great.  I kinda like their outfits, and the dance was cool too.  I felt as if Gaki was yelling at me during the "ai ga ai ga ai ga aru KARAAAAAAAAAA" parts.  Calm down Gaki.  Also, it was almost as if Aichans mic was turned off for this perf.  For her solo's we could barely hear her, but all in all good perf.

4. Linlin's Watarasebashi:
Linlin was so adorable on stage reading her letter.  It really made me tear up a little bit seeing how cute she was.  Her performance was really great too.  Her voice is so melodic, I wonder if anyone of the new girls will develop a voice like hers one day.  She's really one of a kind.

5. Seishun Collection:
Let me just say: best costumes ever.  I don't really know why, but I honestly fell in love with these costumes.  I like color coordination.  The song itself wasn't anything special, but it was cool and different how they performed the entire song while circling the concert hall floor waving at everyone.

6. Odore! Morning Curry:
Awesome.  My favorite performance of the night.  It just had so much energy.  I really loved whatever was going on on the screen behind them...it was kinda mezmerizing.  Anyways, the pairings were balanced.  I liked Aika/Eri especially.  Also, towards the end, Sayu/Jun were adorable.  The wota chanting parts were cool as shit too.  "HEY? HAI!"  Just makes me wanna dance my pants off.

7. GuruGuru Jump:
This song will never die.  It will always be #1.  I loved the opening when Aika was centered with the other girls circling her.  Another high energy song for sure.  SO AWESOME.  Line distribution ftw here as well.  I could watch it a hundred times.

8. Onna to Otoko no Lullaby Game:
The outfits were so much nicer here then they were in the PV, but that's okay.  Was performed really well, even with the minor screw ups that nobody was supposed to see [cue Eri's laces tangled and Linlin falling on her butt] lol.  Im glad Eri/Jun/Lin got to perform this song once before they left.

9. Ame no Furanai something something something:
This one was probably hard to perform after constant crying for like 30 minutes of graduation messages.  It was just as hard to watch, lemme tell you that.  It was beautiful though.  Stop it.  I'm going to cry.

Well before I start crying again, i'm going to stop here.  I thought this concert was fantastic, and it was a nice way to end Eri's Jun's and Lin's time in Morning Musume.  I'm really gonna miss them, especially Linlin of course.  They won't be forgotten, and I always have this concert on DVD to watch whenever I need some more Linlin time. :D

Day of Destiny

So, just now, at the Hello Project Winter Kangei Shinsen Matsuri 2011, the new members of the 9th generation of Morning Musume have been announced.

The winners of Morning Musume's 9th generation auditions are:
(scroll down when you're ready)

SAYASHI RIHO:

SUZUKI KANON:

IKUTA ERINA:

FUKUMURA MIZUKI:

So.  Were back to 9 members again I see.  These girls better do Momusu some good.  They look like they have great potential to grow and make me love them.  I was surprised that an Egg was thrown into the group though.  I've never even heard of Fukumura Mizuki before.  Let's see what she's got for us.

Overall, i'm happy with the results.  I'm not being judgmental about the girls yet, because I can only wait and see what happens.  I'm looking forward to it though!

So there you have it.  Our NEW Morning Musume consists of:
Takahashi Ai & Niigaki Risa [5th Gen]
Michishige Sayumi & Tanaka Reina [6th Gen]
Mitsui Aika [8th Gen]
Sayashi Riho, Suzuki Kanon, Itsuka Erina, & Fukumura Mizuki [9th Gen]

There have been some rumors going around that have stirred up some controversy.
I wonder if they're true? So far i've heard:
- Kikkawa Yuu is going to be an H!P soloist.
- Jang Dayeon is joining MM as well
- The new members are replacement members in Tanpopo# and Shin Minimoni
- Tsugunaga Momoko will graduate from Berryz and HP in Summer 2011
- Sayumi Michishige will graduate from Momusu and HP in Summer 2011
- Mitsui Aika gets boo'ed for mentioning that Suzuki Kanon looks like her.

I'm really curious about these.  Especially the last two.  Things are changing way too fast in HP.

I Make Cool Things

A while ago I got really excited with the chibi drawings that were associated with Morning Musume's promotion song Appare Kaiten Zushi.  You know what i'm talking about right?
I think they went by the name Muten Musume for the single.

Anyways, I was appalled that there weren't moar goods released for this single, since there could be so much potential for t-shirts with these mascots.

[Then, I got an idea]
So I made my own shirts.

Buh-Bam.

I only made these four cause these were the 4 most popular.  I wonder how the others would have looked.

Jealous yet?
